Learning Theories ETC 547

People learn in different ways that are unique to them. Everyone has heard of visual learners or audio learners but those are just a couple of the many different methods used to learn. Over the ages, many different theorists contemplated and studied the ways in which people learn. A variety of theories have been created to describe the learning process. This website considers two different models of learning and two different theorists. The four discussions are not related to each other, however, similarities may exist. Explore this website to learn about cognitive apprenticeship and constructivism learning theories. Brief biographies of two great theorists, Lev Vygotsky and Malcolm Knowles are also shared here. The more you know about how people learn, the better you will be at instructing and helping them learn. Explore, discover, and enjoy!
